FAQ's
Here are some commonly asked questions and answers!
Q. What
do I do if I can't make my
appointment? A. Please call 662-1310 at least 24 hours in advance and reschedule your next appointment.
Q. What
are your business hours? A.
MONDAY 8AM-8PM TUESDAY
8AM-5PM WEDNESDAY
8AM-5PM THURSDAY
8AM-6:30PM FRIDAY 8AM-5PM
Q.
Where do I park? A. There is
one hour parking on Vaughan Street as well as West
Street. Also there is the MMC
parking lot
located to the side of McGeachey Hall accessed on Chadwick Street.
Q. How
long will my first appointment
be? A. About 2 hours. Much of the beginning is gathering information and signing releases etc.
Q. What happens at the first visit? A. At
your first visit we spend much of the time getting
information from you and getting to understand the presenting problems. At this point we start creating a treatment plan and set goals.
Q. When
are you closed? A. We are closed for all major holidays. No appointments are booked on these days and the medication refill line is unmanned.
Q. Do
you ever close due to bad
weather? A. As a medical facility that
is part of Maine
Medical Center, we do not close during
inclement weather. We will close, however, if
power is lost for more than an hour and is not expected back on quickly. This becomes a safety issue and we must close and evacuate.
